Free online course for educators - Sustainability Education Concepts and Teaching Methods

Green Education Foundation (GEF) is launching a free pilot online professional development course entitled Sustainability Education Concepts and Teaching Methods. The course provides K-12 educators an introduction to sustainability education teaching concepts, curriculum and teaching methods.
Major topics include biodiversity, climate change, renewable energy sources, and green technology. The course is made up of 10, 1.5 hour modules and is self-paced. The course is available November 1, and registration is available up until December 15th. There is no cost to participants. A certificate will be offered upon completion.
